🐣The whole School took part in our annual Easter Egg Hunt!🐣
A huge thank you to the Friends of St Wystan`s for organising the event and delivering sweet treats to the pupils. The hunt was also a chance for the pupils for win extra points for their Houses ... which was of course great fun in the sunshine!

Secret Egg Delivery 🔍🪺
Form 1 recently brightened the community by decorating fresh eggs and secretly
delivering them to the doorsteps of local residents. Each egg was uniquely designed,
spreading a little surprise and joy.
The class had a great time, especially making their deliveries, and are now hoping to
hear how recipients used their eggs!

On Friday, the whole school rounded up the House Music celebrations by performing their House Songs! 🎤🎶

Osprey performed a showstopping rendition of YMCA,
Eagle shone whilst singing ABBA`s Mamma Mia,
Falcon used kazoos in a very exciting The Muppets performance,
and Puffin wowed us using props singing Stevie Wonder!

Congratulations Eagle who were crowned the winners 🥇

Form 5 turned back the clock this week when they went on their trip to the Black
Country Living Museum. bclivingmuseum
From exploring historic homes and shops, to experiencing what school life was like over 100
years ago, the children fully immersed themselves in the sights, sounds, and stories of
the past. It was the perfect way to end their history topic.

Our Prep Choir had everyone tapping their toes as they led a joyful sing-along with the wonderful members of the Fisher Close Luncheon Club. 🎶

Form 3 really enjoyed their hands-on Roman Experience Day last Wednesday. The children were in high sprits and fully in role as centurions, gladiators, goddesses, ladies of the villa and rulers. They began the day by making bread using an ancient recipe based upon archaeological findings in Pompeii. They then researched Emperor Julius Caesar and in Roman style, drew a charcoal portrait of him, bringing him to life through animation software on the iPads. In the afternoon, they sampled the bread, ready to build their strength to then become soldiers. All good Roman soldiers needed their shields. So, red paint aplenty, they designed and created their own which were later put to the test during some centurion and legionary drills on the playground.
