Prep School Day
St Wystan’s school day is designed to provide maximum opportunity for pupils to explore, discover and be challenged in academic pursuit, as well as during their extra curricular and play times.
We also offer excellent before and after-school care provision, as we appreciate this is helpful for many parents.
A typical school day in St Wystan’s Preparatory School:

|12.15 – 1.30pm||Break and lunch – Extracurricular clubs are on offer to all students|
|1.30 – 2.45pm||Lessons|
|2.45 – 2.55pm||Break time for Year 3 and 4|
|3.00 – 3.30pm||Lessons/ Assembly|
|3.30pm||Form time/ Prepare for home time|
|3.40pm||Dismissal by Form Tutor – Home time or extracurricular clubs|
Lessons consist of a wide variety of subject areas through a creative curriculum, including Maths, English, History, Geography, Science, IT & Computing, French, Music, Religious Education, Art, Design and Technology, PSHE and PE (including swimming). All lessons are differentiated to meet the needs of the individual child in order to ensure that they receive appropriately challenging work.
