St Wystan’s Pupil Stars on CBeebies! ⚽📺

We are incredibly proud of Form 6 pupil Takunda, who has been cast in the brand new CBeebies series Football Fantastics!

Launching last Saturday on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer, the show is packed with fun, football and friendship - and features some familiar faces from the Lionesses, as well as a regular appearance from national treasure Jill Scott.

Set in the heart of Yorkshire, Football Fantastics celebrates everything we love about the beautiful game, and we can’t wait to see Takunda shine on screen! 🌟

From relays to tug of war, all our pupils from Reception to Year 6 gave it their all across a fun-filled day of events at this year`s Sports Day, with cheering crowds and house spirit in full force.

And to round things off, a surprise fancy dress teachers’ race brought laughter and joy to the finish line! A huge congratulations to Puffin House for taking home the overall win! 💛

From hypnotic gobstoppers to anti-gravity underpants, our summer production of SuperStan had it all! Stanley Marvel may have started as the clumsiest clot in Megaville, but with a little help from his Gran and a top-secret formula, he transformed into the unlikely hero we all needed.

Our pupils delivered a fantastic performance packed with comedy, chaos, and a whole lot of candy-coated villainy 🍭🎭 Well done to everyone involved, you truly were SUPER!

Dinosaurs spotted in Repton village! Watch out for chomping jaws and swishing tails as you walk past St Wystan`s this week 🦕

This week pupils from Newton Solney Primary School joined Form 2 for an awesome afternoon of science wonder! 🧪🧬

Form 6 pupils guided the children through the experiments, showcasing their knowledge with lots of great enthusiasm. The children learned about woodlouse habitats, how to make wild seed paper, chemical reactions and how to make a rocket!

As the school year draws to a close, the whole school enjoyed a fantastic trip to Chatsworth House! 🌿☀️

From farmyard friends and maze adventures in Pre-Prep, to garden explorations and waterfall discoveries in Forms 3 & 4 — and a fascinating house tour for Forms 5 & 6 — it was a day filled with fun and fresh air.

A brilliant way to round off the year – we’re already looking forward to our next whole school adventure!

Form 2 jetted off on a whirlwind tour of Europe with St Wystan’s Airways to launch their new Geography topic! 🌍✈️ With boarding cards, in-flight snacks, European songs and even a time zone maths challenge, it was a journey full of fun, facts and adventure.

At the end of last Half Term we held a special service at the village church to commemorate our lovely school and St Wystan, the saint who gave us our name. It was a wonderful celebration that we were proud to share with our families and friends, featuring beautiful singing, dancing and spoken word from our pupils.
