Congratulations! to our Year 6 pupil, Gabriel, on his bronze medal in the U11 ISA Tennis competition at Leamington Tennis Club. Gabriel took on some tough opponents but played some outstanding tennis to win the bronze medal.

Today, the children at St Wystan`s broke the rules to raise money for our upcoming library refurbishment. From rainbow hairstyles and non uniform to untucked shirts and chocolate at breaktimes, it has been a lot of fun this Monday!

The ISA athletics day was a great success with St Wystan`s competitive across lots of track and field events. The children were supportive of each other with chants and signage keeping the track runners going. We witnessed some fantastic teamwork in relay events and a real sense of school spirit throughout the day. Highlights included 6th place in Y4 Girls 600m and a gold medal in the Y4 Boys 60m Sprint.

The trips continue ... Forms 3 and 4 had an amazing three days last week at Caythorpe Court PGL in Lincolnshire. The children showed true adventurous spirit undertaking a variety of exciting activities such as rafting, climbing Jacob’s Ladder and daringly dangling from the Giant Swing. They worked tremendously well as a team, solving problems and communicating clearly through a sensory trail. Every pupil pushed themselves to be the best they could be and try things that they had never done before. They all left feeling incredibly proud of their achievements, if not a little tired! A huge well done to everyone – how your confidence and self-belief now soars!

Form 2 had a blast! 💥
This week Form 2 have been to Bardon Quarry. We had enjoyed a site tour, learnt about all the large trucks and even got to watch a blast in the quarry! We visited two quarries onsite and saw how they are excavating the rock and what they do with it afterwards. The staff explained their sustainability and environmental impact too. Thank you to Holcim for the great experience! The pupils thoroughly enjoyed their day and we look forward to returning! @holcim_uk
