Autumn rambles are back! This week, Forms 2, 3 and 4 took a lovely walk around Repton, appreciating the autumnal weather and changing seasons. We also spent time sketching our surroundings and collecting evidence of autumn. 🍂🍄

On Tuesday we celebrated our annual St Wystan’s Day of Languages! ✨🌍

Our pupils (and parents!) went above and beyond with an incredible array of costumes representing countries from around the world. We were delighted to welcome talented linguists from Repton School, who kindly shared their language skills with us, and we’re so grateful to our parent volunteers who enriched the day by sharing stories from their home countries - and even teaching us some Japanese calligraphy!

Thank you to everyone who made the day so special. We hope our pupils have enjoyed sharing their new skills and that their enthusiasm for language-learning continues to flourish.

To mark three decades of incredible fundraising through Genes for Jeans, St Wystan’s School proudly hosted a delicious bake sale and invited pupils to wear a splash of denim alongside their uniforms.

We are passionate supporters of this fantastic charity, and let’s be honest - what better way to raise money than with cake? Thank you to everyone who baked, bought, and wore their denim with pride!

Form 3 and 4 pupils braved the wet forecast to enjoy a brilliant day of Tri Golf at Dixie Grammar. ⛳️ They showed fantastic teamwork and determination across eight fun challenges, finishing 3rd overall with an impressive 590 points! A day of skills, smiles and success – perfectly summed up by Bella: ‘This is the best day ever!’

At St Wystan’s, we love for the children to share their knowledge with other year groups. Last week, Reception learnt all about the human skeleton with a little help from Mr P and Miss Watkins and Form 4. 🦴

Form 4 loved sharing their knowledge with their younger peers and Reception certainly loved creating their own skeletons!

Our clubs programme is back in full swing, and the children have jumped in with incredible enthusiasm! From languages to newspaper club, hockey to crafts, there`s something for everyone - and they`ve been busy exploring it all. Sunshine and smiles at St Wystan’s! Our children enjoyed playtime yesterday with friends, apple picking and relaxing in the good weather. A happy day full of laughter, learning, and lovely memories! 🌿💛

With great gusto, St Wystan’s are back! Despite the the rainy start, our spirts were not dampened, and it was fabulous to see old friends and new. Here’s to a fantastic year ahead at our amazing school!
