Woodland School is such a memorable experience at St Wystan`s School 🍂🍃 From finding mini beasts to creating experiments, the woodland orchard and our Head of Outdoor Learning and Science Mr Pickersgill create an amazing immersive learning environment for all our pupils. Forms 4, 5 and 6 will enjoy their Woodland lessons this term. The Spring term ended with hot chocolate and marshmallows! ☕😃

Thank you so much for your support with building our library with books the pupils have chosen.
We are so lucky at St Wystan’s that we are now up and running as an orienteering school! Thanks to Oreinteering for Schools, they have set up 10 control points around the grounds of our school and we will now be introducing orienteering across all age groups as a part of our Physical Education Curriculum! Our Y1 and 2 classes were the first to try them out and what an amazing fun-filled and afternoon of learning it was!

Form 2 have been busy learning how to sew this half term. They have been very resilient and learnt how to thread a needle, tie a knot and do a running stitch. Our final project was a pouch which they have decorated with their own designs. Look at their final work!

🐣The whole School took part in our annual Easter Egg Hunt!🐣
A huge thank you to the Friends of St Wystan`s for organising the event and delivering sweet treats to the pupils. The hunt was also a chance for the pupils for win extra points for their Houses ... which was of course great fun in the sunshine!
