🌳Sherwood Pines Whole School Trip 2026 🌳
The whole school community enjoyed time together in the forests in Nottinghamshire this week!
>Mr P led orienteering with Forms 3 and 4
>Pre-pre explored the woodland trails
>Forms 5 and 6 visited the WW1 trenches display

On Wednesday we hosted our annual whole school sports day and what an afternoon it was! Yet again, the weather was kindly on our side and it was so lovely to see the parental and family support lining the track from 1pm. The children were all incredible, they gave 100% in all their events, celebrated their friends and the team spirit was outstanding! 🏃🏻🤾♀️🤸♂️

As part of yesterdays celebrations, the pupils created memory paper chains. These will form a display in our School for the rest of the centenary year. ✨💯
Each chain reads, `St Wystan`s is` and each pupil has had the chance to record their best highlights, including teachers, lessons, values, events and trips!
Form 6 have also had the chance to write letters to go inside the new time capsule, what this space for updates! ✨

🌟Today marks the 100th day into our 100th year at St Wystan`s! 🌟
Despite the heat, all the pupils and staff have enjoyed the afternoon celebrating our School centenary birthday! And, what is a birthday without cake? The whole school came together to sing `Happy Birthday` in the playground before the Head Boy, Head Girl and our Headteacher Ms Lebihan blew out the candles. Hip Hip Horray! 🎉🎂
