As part of yesterdays celebrations, the pupils created memory paper chains. These will form a display in our School for the rest of the centenary year. ✨💯
Each chain reads, `St Wystan`s is` and each pupil has had the chance to record their best highlights, including teachers, lessons, values, events and trips!
Form 6 have also had the chance to write letters to go inside the new time capsule, what this space for updates! ✨

🌟Today marks the 100th day into our 100th year at St Wystan`s! 🌟
Despite the heat, all the pupils and staff have enjoyed the afternoon celebrating our School centenary birthday! And, what is a birthday without cake? The whole school came together to sing `Happy Birthday` in the playground before the Head Boy, Head Girl and our Headteacher Ms Lebihan blew out the candles. Hip Hip Horray! 🎉🎂

Form 6 had a brilliant trip to the National Memorial Arboretum last week, to support our history studies. We enjoyed a fascinating look at the heroes of the holocaust in the classroom and enjoyed the sunshine in the beautiful grounds as we learnt about the different memorials linked to World War Two.

Last week the whole School came together to celebrate our Houses taking part in the School`s annual Swimming Gala. A huge well done to all pupils from Reception to Form 6 who all swam superbly in their races!

St Wystan`s have been learning about Tourette’s Syndrome in assembly last week. We found out that people who suffer with Tourette`s have no choice in the sound and movements they make, but we can choose how to respond. At SWS, we choose kindness, friendship and inclusion every day.
