Nursery Developments
Our next Interactive Whiteboard has been installed into the Nursery and we again thank the Friends for their support in funding this development. I am sure that this will provide the Early Years section of the school with a vital resource to enhance their learning. Please take a moment to have a look if you are able.
The Nursery has also had a new television and DVD player and Mrs Warner would like to ask if anyone has any children’s DVDs at home that are no longer used or your children have grown out of, as long as they are in good condition, as she would be glad to have them donated to the Nursery. They could also be used in After School Care. Many thanks for your support.

Transport help needed!
We are due to travel to Trent College on Wednesday 20th January for a swimming gala against The Elms but we are struggling for help with transport. We are leaving at 1.30pm so if anyone is able to help to take the team to Long Eaton, as long as you have a current CRB check, can you please make contact with Mrs Pearson for further details. We do appreciate all our parents who help with transport as this allows us to take part in many sporting fixtures without incurring huge costs for coaches.

Parental Questionnaire Feedback Session
We will be holding an Information Evening on Tuesday 26th January at 7.30pm in order for us to expand further on the information provided in the end of term mailing regarding the recent Parental Questionnaire. There will be an opportunity to hear more about the results that were received and the feedback made, while also hearing more about future developments that have arisen from that feedback and our plans to enhance the learning experiences of your children at St Wystan’s School. If you are able to attend please complete the slip and return to the School Office by Friday 22nd January.

Friday Entertainment
Elizabeth played two pieces on the piano called ‘We wish you a Merry Christmas’ and ‘ A tricky trick’. Both were played with confidence and precision, well done!
