St Wystan’s School Nursery is a very friendly, fully registered Nursery School. Although an integral part of the whole school, the Nursery has its own well-resourced self-contained accommodation. Our rooms are spacious but homely and include areas for creative and quiet play.

The Nursery caters for children aged from 2 ½ years up to 5 years and provides structured learning within an enjoyable and play orientated environment. 

We give children the opportunity to experience a broad and balanced curriculum through a wide variety of stimulating and fun activities. The Nursery children have an opportunity to sing and play instruments and also have a time for outside play every day using small and large equipment. They also benefit from two sessions each week with the school’s P.E. specialist. 

Our aim throughout the whole school is to provide a caring, nurturing environment where each child is treated as an individual and respected for whom they are and the qualities they each have. At St Wystan’s we fully believe that children must feel loved and cared for if they are to realise their full potential and flourish both academically and  emotionally. We place great emphasis on kindness, consideration and social development. We like to see our role as an extended family, where good relationships are formed between children, staff, parents, Grandparents and the local community.
